The RFoG Micro Node provides full RF services over a fiber optic distribution network. The RFoG MicroNode can either be deployed as a standalone RFoG ONT or in conjunction with an EPON or GPON ONT asthe network requirements evolve. The RFoG Micro Node enables operators to progress from an HFCinfrastructure to an all optical distribution network without abandoning investments in DOCSIS and RFsystems.
PCT’s BMFN-4OxxAS and BMFN-8OxxAS Forward and ReturnPath Transceivers for RFoG, PON and Hybrid PON networkdelivers advanced bi-directional, interactive RF services over apassive fiber optic distribution network. Being the first RFoGmini node in the industry with 4 and 8 RF outputs, the units aredesigned to operate on RFoG systems or optional overlay ofRFoG systems onto Passive Optical Network (PON) systemswith either a 1310 or a 1610 nm return laser version. Theseburst-mode mini nodes provide the freedom and flexibility towork with any PON solution that uses industry standard opticalwavelengths, and serves as the optical transport layer for RFvideo or DOCSIS technologies.
