The Connect series of Fiber Wall Outlet Transition Boxes (FWOTB) are the ideal solution that provides a transition point between incoming cable and building access points for FTTH enterprise or residential fiber installations. The FWOTB-SCD unit with a sliding cover is designed for direct mount on a wall utility conduit junction box or surface wall mount with incoming back, side, top or bottom entry cables. The wall outlet sliding cover box provides two SC fiber access points with SC adapters and sliding cover for child safety or unwanted cable disconnection or connectors damage. Unit can also be supplied with internal shuttered adapters for eye safety.
The FWOTB with Sliding Cover is suited for deployment using direct or spliced pigtail terminations and can be supplied with connector(s) and mechanical splice field-installable pigtail(s) depending on the configuration required.
