The CF Fiber Distribution Panels (FDP) series are wall mount closures designed for patch, or patch and splice optical fibers. They are an excellent choice for applications requiring a compact and easy-to-use design for FTTx at multiple dwelling units, using industry standard LGX compatible plates and LGX cassettes (modules). These compact, durable, and easy to install panels offer mechanical protection for cables, splices, connectors and passive optical splitters on medium and large sizes. The product is also designed to accommodate a range of fiber counts and support factory installation of pigtails and fan-outs. There are three different sizes: small, medium and large. The small unit is available in either single or dual door access. The medium and large cabinets come standard with two doors – single door versions are available by special request.
Splice trays, splitters and internal fiber management are housed in a separate compartment – the two door version latches securely for trade access while the user side facilitates the access to the patch panel for customer management. Feeder and drops fiber cables can exit either to the top or bottom of the unit. The CF-FDP panels are also available with factory terminated and preloaded cables.
