QuikPush Fiber Drop Cable

Overview

CTSF QuikPush Fibre Drop Cable (QFDC) is made from crush resistant hard plastic, designed to allow pre-terminated cable to be routed in the field without the need for a splice. The QuikPush fiber drop cable is a new concept in pre-connectorized that uses slim-line, pushable pre-terminated ferrules with a Balistix removable protective sleeve which allows the drop cable to be pushed through microducts or traditional ducts.

The QuikPush fiber drop cable connector(s) are easy to field assemble; it requires no equipment or splices and the cables are factory pre-terminated on one or both ends to facilitate a true Plug and Play solution for FTTH applications.

The QuikPush fiber drop cable can be used for both outdoor and indoor applications. The connectors are available with SC, LC, FC, & ST terminations with either APC (angled) or UPC (ultra polish performance).

With the QuikPush fiber drop cable, the field process of completing the connector assembly and making the network subscriber connection without requiring additional equipment and/or splices can now be achieved in a significant less time, thereby offering a dramatic reduction in time and labour cost.
